Our Own Premium Meat is grown on our own farm, a dairy farm in Girgarre Victoria. The farm is a third generation dairy property and was one of the first soldier settlement farms established in the district after World War I.
We offer a variety of meat from Beef, Veal and Pork and raise our animals in the most natural way possible. Our animals have access to natural foods and are allowed to forage and socialise the way they are supposed to, making happy, healthy animals and in turn healthy, flavoursome meat. We believe “you are what you eat” and ultimately, healthy and happy are the main goals we want to achieve. Our animals are grass fed and finished. We substitute natural pasture hay when grass feed is sparse. We don’t use grain feeds, hormones or antibiotics, practices which unnaturally increase yields but produce inferior quality meat. We use no colouring or chemical additives and do not add water to our meat. Our meat is processed at Riverside Meats Echuca and is inspected and graded under Meat Standards Australia (MSA) for a guarantee of quality and is delivered to you from the farm, by us the farmer 100% fresh.
